ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Candace Grahl, a therapist, wife, mother, houseplant enthusiast, pug-lover, and Bravo Housewives Historian.
I am a trauma-trained therapist by day and a mother to two teenage boys by night. My understanding of how therapy works wasn't just earned in the classroom: I have experienced my own life coming apart at the seams. Raising children is the most painful, exhausting, beautiful, joyous, vulnerable and confusing experience one can endure. Even in it's incredible difficulty I know we can do it without losing ourselves and our sanity in the process.

I am passionate about working with individuals and parents to help integrate all of their life experiences to keep them moving forward. I learn so much from my clients and consider it an honor to walk alongside them as they invite me into their story, and we navigate the rough terrain of being human together.

I began my career in community programming in my hometown in central Virginia, and continued to do so after my move to Nashville in 2015.

I received a Master of Arts Degree specializing in Clinical Mental Health from Trevecca University, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee. I am EMDR-trained, as well as a certified Parent Coach through the Jai Institute for Parenting.
